40" x 30" x 1.5" original painting on stretched canvas, with the image continuing around the sides so that no frame is required. It comes with picture wire, ready to hang. This painting has many layers and a combination of techniques. I first painted a pale background and then began adding spots of color to build up the image, focusing on the reds and oranges. But I felt a rush of excitement and began to jazz it up, adding lines and touches of blue. Then, to make the pale parchment colors "pop" I outlined them in Prussian blue. This painting is all about movement and life energy.
