This is a painting in my 'Surface' series, which are abstractions that have evolved from observations of rock pools along Boulder Creek in the Mothar Mountain National Park near Gympie in southeast Queensland. I'm most interested in the reflections and the patterns of light and shadows on the water surface. It is an oil on stretched linen, will be signed and finished with white edges, ready to hang.
