About the Artwork

This is a painting of a series of four (Parts 1-4). The first painting was finished about when the news came out that one of the abstract paintings of the great Gerhard Richter has sold for 26 Million Euro (or was it dollars?). The second painting I finished in the series was actually Part 3. So, Part 2 became the link between Parts 1 and 3. As I felt the series unfinished, I created Part 4 that really completed the wonderful story through colors and their arrangement. Hope you enjoy these as much as I do. Oil paintings except background and sides in acrylics. A glossy varnish sealed the painting and brings the colors to vivid life.
