About the Artwork

These began as ink and watercolor journal entries during a trip to the Caribbean late last year. I could not stop making them when I got home and they’ve developed to become more textured and layered. Included to the process now are gold/copper leaf, rice paper, resin on hardboard then mounted on to an unstretched canvas. These playful patinated pieces are rough edged and distressed looking with a vintage feel.
