I retired as a Secondary Headteacher several years ago and began to paint. My interest in abstract art developed and I took several courses in order to develop the skills I needed to paint as I wanted to. My work uses a variety of techniques including acrylic pours, collage and brushwork. I use vibrant colours, inspired by the landscapes in Portugal, where I now live, or the many countries I have visited.
