MY WORDS ABOUT MY WORKS, PRACTICING & INTEREST
It however depends upon the artist whether it would lead to a mundane exercise of sentimental chronicling of situations, or, become embedded with an antithetic approach. In the case of me I had tackled this dilemma through a different approximate. Fetishtic by nature, the isolated representation of the female body comes out as a symbol of a personal outcry with regards to certain 'expectations'. The gaze and perception point towards intimacy and a metaphor for personal issues. The paintings seem to demand a question with respect to the common and guided patterns of seeing through a melancholic lustful and extroverted presence. They express a tension around the female body and the urge to attain a sense of freedom through physicality and emotion. Most of them are erotic. I have not shown their faces because they are not particular. And some of my paintings based on non figurative and non objective. Here I have tried to bring some undeliberate compositions with the help of color, atmosphere, some lines, dots, texture. Influenced by abstract expressionism and action painting being a great fan of Jackson Pollock. Feel the texture you can see some galaxy pathways. Dots are indicated to the stars. I mostly prefer acrylic color though there are some in mix media. I want to do more works in mix media and installation.
