Olapade Suliyat Tope Ajibola was born in Lagos. She grew up with passion for mending and a deep interest in the arts which was encouraged by her father and her brother who is an artist.

She obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Fine and Applied Arts at LAUTECH, Ogb. Tope received recognition as the "best female artist, department of fine and applied arts", LAUTECH 2004 -courtesy association of fine and applied arts students.
Her creativity and contribution to the development of Anambra State was also recognized during National Youth Service Corp, awarding her
"The most enterprising female corp member, Awka south LGA", Anambra state -Jan 2006.
"NYSC, ANAMBRA STATE MERITS AWARD-" Feb 2006, and Automatic Employment into the state civil service amongst others for the production of a Video Documentary showcasing the tourist potential of the State.

Olapade Suliyat Tope Ajibola worked briefly in a signage company as a graphic artist. She formally registered her art business name as Sulyart ventures and also created Sulyart Children Creative Club as an avenue to give back to the society through impacting the act creativity into Children between age 6-16years. She also acquired a skill in fashion designing and sewing through Lagos State (ministry of women affairs and poverty alleviation). Tope is presently a fulltime studio artist in Lagos with many of her works in private collections.
