Hello and Welcome!
My name is Katarina Kraevska, I'm 33 years old self-taught artist from Ukraine. I was born and raised in a small western Ukrainian town Novovolynsk which is located in a very picturesque part of my country, surrounded by beautiful fields, forests and lakes. In 2002 I moved to Kiev and from that moment my heart is completely conquested by this lovely city where I'm living till now.
Inherent love of beauty accompanied me from school days but only in 2016 I managed to fully plunge into my journey of painting. My niche is an abstraction, this is exactly the style where my philosophy passes into the most extraordinary shapes, figures and lines. I paint by my inner-me, my mood and the moment of the day. For me it's therapeutic and very intimate process as each work is a part of my thoughts, emotions and energy. To create a painting, I am guided by absolute freedom of expression, my inner monologue which is supposed to become an exciting dialogue between me and you.
