Ron Kleban was born in New York City, and raised in northern New Jersey. Heavily influenced in his formative years by the writings of Ram Das, Carlos Castaneda, and Alan Watts, he is an agnostic Buddhist. He attributes his artist eye to his grandfather, Jack Levitz, an oil painter and gallery owner in New York City in the 1940's and 50's. Both Ron's spiritual perspective, and his love of shape, color, and texture have found fertile ground in the subjective nature and endless possibilities offered by the elegant beauty of fractal geometry. Currently residing in Tucson, Arizona, he continues creating and printing his visions in the hope of creating some joy and fulfillment to people who may view his work.
