About

I am a new emerging artist, started experimenting with different pouring methods in acrylic paints,. I used straws, sieves, string, kitchen gadgets, blow torches on wood, canvas, even porcelain tile ( each piece is unique). I am a pharmacist, graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, in 1975 and 1990.
Pouring techniques allow me to control, more or less, the flow of layers of colorful paint.. Patterns of color emerge that are unique to each piece. Delicate lines can outline a single color, or "cell like" color within other colors can be created, all without a brush just be moving surface slightly. The photos don't really capture the beauty of color and color patterns in my work.
