My name is Svetlana Sokolova, and I want to tell a little about myself and my creative path. I was born in Moscow. From early childhood I was drawn to painting, and this was the impetus for entering the Moscow Architectural Institute, where at that time there was one of the most powerful painting faculties in the country. The education I received at the Institute of Architecture became the basis for my further growth as an artist. There I learned to correctly build a composition, to feel color, proportions, shadows and other wisdom of drawing and painting.
By experimenting with technologies, materials and my emotions, I achieve a correspondence between my perception of reality and the powerful stream of the world ether.
My worldview is deeply intertwined with the numbers, rhythms and harmony of the elements that make up the cosmic whole. At this stage of my life, I am most interested in scientific-philosophical, metaphysical and esoteric directions. All my life skills and knowledge are amazingly combined when the next "masterpiece" is created. A bright idea comes to mind in the form of a fancy dough ball. Then it slowly grows, swells and turns into an intricate delicious cake. He assumes an architectural education and a serious interest in numerology. In each of these areas of my life, I have a set of tools with which I can open any box of ideas.
At the moment, I am interested in color graphics, which attracts with the laconic form and clarity of lines.
During my development as an artist, I have created about 400 works. Not all of them were of the same quality, but I was constantly studying, and over time my paintings became in demand by a wide range of connoisseurs. Many of my works are in private collections.
