Bio Nathalie Landry
Native of Acton-Vale in Montérégie, studied building design. But it wasn't for her, because she doesn't like being stuck in a mold. She has a great thirst for freedom and it is with art that she obtains it. A 48-year-old high school graduate, she is a determined woman who seeks to pursue her dreams.
A passionate artist, art is her outlet in pleasant or difficult times, and has been since her early childhood. His creations are instinctive, full of emotions and imagination, giving free rein to his rebellious side.
She has no studies in arts, with a great thirst for learning in a free context, her quest is endless. Her head is full of projects, she likes to discover new techniques, colors and textures. The abstract is her domain, she also touches on the figurative and sometimes even the naive. Acrylic is her main medium, but she also touches on oil, ink, watercolor, etc.
She paints what she feels about what surrounds her and makes her vibrate. Playing with colors and textures is an integral part of her process. For her the texture is as if each canvas had its own scars from their experiences.
Her art in full evolution, seeks to make people think with her down to earth side, she likes people to question themselves. But also, make them travel. His colorful creations, space of black light and phosphorescence, bring the viewer into several universes.
The insertion of an object (new or recycled) brings a little madness to the whole thing.
