About

I am a self-taught abstract artist from Queens, NY inspired by New York City graffiti, an increasingly multicultural community and a yearning for a home I've yet to earn. I started painting flowers at a very young age and now I paint what I like to call emotionscapes. The dreamy and therapeutic environments become a backdrop for chaotic swirls, representing a cognitive dissonance between anxiety and a cool sense of responsibility. I work primarily with acrylic paints, watercolor, ink and paint markers. Occasionally, I do blockprinting.
